Algoane is a Laboratoires Sciences et Mer product range which came about because we wanted to give people the chance to try the very best of the ocean.

At Algoane we draw on the research work carried out by the Laboratoires Sciences et Mer who work closely with academic and medical research centres in order to:
- select sea plants and minerals with real cosmetic potential,
- extract the elements which are essential to the balance and beauty of the skin from them.
As a result of this partnership and the ongoing research work, two major active ingredients have been produced:
OSMOCÉALGUE® :
This active ingredient is extracted from Laminaria digitata seaweed and is the flagship ingredient of Algoane moisturizing treatments.
Osmocéalgue® is produced using a totally natural manufacturing process (a biotechnology process which does not use any chemical products) which has helped to isolate an osmolyte in the seaweed and extract it at the highest possible concentration.
Osmocéalgue® allows the skin to stand up to external factors which can cause dehydration and to self-regulate its hydration rate.
